Senior Frontend Engineer with a designer's eye.

I'm Rob, a Senior Frontend Engineer in the UK. I've spent five years shipping React, Next.js and TypeScript in production, and 14 working across design and front-end. Most recently that's meant leading front-end at Kyan on projects for Wella, Costa Coffee and Yeo Valley, and now building websites and AI tooling at Chaos, a branding agency.

I started as a graphic designer and it still shapes how I work. I'm fluent in Figma, comfortable pairing with designers, and fussy about the last 10% that gets a design into production looking the way it should.

Away from the screen I'm a maker by nature. I make my own trainers, freestyle kayak and play touch rugby. Most days end with a walk with my black lab, and I'm teaching myself guitar, slowly.
